1. Scope and acceptance
These Terms govern access to and use of CronLume, including its website, dashboard, developer API, scheduling services, workers, alerts and related operational features. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you use CronLume for an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to bind that organization.
2. Professional service
CronLume is designed primarily for professional users responsible for websites, applications, infrastructure and business processes. Individuals may use the service, but professional-grade operational features do not replace the user’s own business continuity, security or compliance responsibilities. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected where they legally apply.
3. Accounts and access
You must provide accurate information, protect passwords and API keys, and immediately report suspected unauthorized access. Actions performed through your account or credentials are treated as authorized until you notify CronLume of a compromise. Access permissions must follow the principle of least privilege.
4. Authorized cron operations
You may only schedule requests to systems and endpoints you own or are authorized to operate. You are responsible for URLs, headers, request bodies, schedules, timeouts and any effects generated by a cron job. CronLume must not be used to bypass access controls, overload services, scan third-party systems, distribute malware, send unsolicited communications or perform illegal activity.
5. Reliability and service operation
CronLume provides scheduling, execution monitoring, incident detection and alert delivery tools. No networked service can guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. You remain responsible for appropriate redundancy, endpoint idempotency, recovery procedures and independent safeguards proportionate to the criticality of your processes.
6. Alerts and third-party delivery
Email, webhook and future mobile alerts may depend on external networks and providers. CronLume records delivery attempts where supported, but cannot guarantee that a third-party mailbox, gateway or device will display a notification. You must maintain valid alert destinations and escalation procedures.
7. Fees and subscriptions
Any paid plan, billing period, included usage and taxes will be presented before purchase. Unless otherwise stated, professional subscriptions renew for the selected period until cancelled. Pricing and plan limits may change prospectively with reasonable notice. This section applies only when paid subscriptions are activated.
8. Intellectual property
CronLume and its software, branding, interface and documentation are protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of your data and configurations. You grant CronLume the limited rights necessary to process that data solely to provide, secure and improve the service.
9. Suspension and termination
Access may be restricted or suspended to protect security, service stability, third parties or legal compliance, or for a material breach of these Terms. You may stop using CronLume and delete your account through the account-deletion page. Deletion consequences are explained before confirmation.
10. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CronLume is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost data or business interruption arising from use of the service. Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for fraud, wilful misconduct or mandatory statutory rights.
11. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of Belgium, without prejudice to mandatory rights that apply in another jurisdiction. Questions or formal notices may be sent to info@cronlume.com. Operator identification is available in the Legal Notice.
